how to start a dedicated counter strike server and how to identify the ip adress?
Sunday, February 28th, 2010
thx
If you plan on running this from your home, I would forget about it. You will need fast upload speeds and consumer plans just don’t support that. And if you want your IP address, just go to http://www.whatismyip.com/
Anyone still boycotting Left 4 dead 2 or MW2?
Sunday, February 28th, 2010
I don’t know about you all but I am still boycotting L4D2. I still think they should have made L4D2 free by adding it by downloadable content. And I am still Modern Warfare 2 messed up with their dedicated servers. MW2 should not be on steam and should allow for custom servers so there can be 60 player servers. I can’t even play MW2 on my computer but I am still boycotting it.
Yeah I’m not exactly "boycotting" MW2, I’m just not buying and not playing a crappy game that won’t let me download mods, maps, or have dedicated servers. I’m a PC Gamer for those very reasons.
It’s like how you don’t boycott crappy movies, you just don’t go to them because you don’t want to waste your time and money. That’s how I feel about MW2.
